The Emmaline – Castell Day Bag Paper Pattern features a distinctive, curvy top with wire frames that create a wide, open design, ideal for carrying all your daily essentials. Modeled after a classic carpet bag, it uses smaller, affordable wire frames available in our shop, though it can also be made with a square top if you prefer not to use the frames.

Inside, you’ll find two gathered pockets for personal items, making this spacious bag both practical and stylish. The pattern includes instructions for an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap that clips onto rings attached to handbag-style straps, allowing for versatile carrying options.

With finished dimensions of 12″ wide at the center (31 cm), 17″ at the base (43 cm), 10 1/3″ high (23 cm), and 7″ deep (8 cm), this pattern is best suited for experienced intermediate to advanced bag makers.
