Our bonded poly is a premium 100% polyester fabric with a smooth, silky surface and a water-resistant bonded backing. At approximately 280 GSM, it provides structure and durability without unnecessary bulk. Unlike many bag-making fabrics, bonded poly does not fray, making it easy to work with and perfect for both beginners and experienced makers.
No interfacing is required for most projects, saving time and reducing bulk while still providing excellent body and stability. Use it for luxurious bag linings, stylish exteriors, pouches, wallets, organizers, and quilted bags. It pairs beautifully with Soft and Stable for projects that require additional structure.
One of our favorite features is that bonded poly can also be used for interior seam binding. Simply cut 1-inch strips and fold them in half to create clean, professional-looking bound seams without fraying.
