Big Giant Quilted Bow by Lindsey Grace Creates Using the Gingerbread Lane collection by Kiley Ferons for Moda Fabrics, she created the patchwork front with two Charm Packs, giving the bow a beautiful mix of coordinating Christmas prints without having to cut into lots of different yardage. For the reverse/lining, Suzanne used 1½ yards of Ornaments Sugar from the same Gingerbread Lane collection. She added fusible fleece to both the exterior and lining for extra body, softness, and structure so the oversized bow holds its shape beautifully. To make it easy to display, she added a 1½” gate ring at the top, perfect for hanging the finished bow on a door. Project Details: * Pattern: The Big Giant Quilted Bow by Lindsey Grace Creates * Fabric Collection: Gingerbread Lane by Kiley Ferons for Moda Fabrics * Patchwork Front: 2 Gingerbread Lane Charm Packs * Lining/Reverse: 1½ yards Ornaments Sugar * Interfacing: Fusible fleece on both exterior and lining * Hanging Hardware: 1½” Gate Ring This project is a great way to turn a favorite holiday fabric collection into handmade Christmas décor—and the oversized scale makes it a statement piece for a front door, sewing room, studio, or holiday display.
